The UDMB drumline relies on certain technologies to make life easier and learning music more efficient.
All show music is composed with Sibelius 5 music notation software. This program is very user friendly and extremely versatile.
Each individual part is then converted to a PDF file which is readable with Adobe Acrobat Reader. The PDF files are then emailed to the drumline and staff. All students must have active UD email addresses to receive parts.
All of the music is then converted to a high quality AIFF audio file. The recordings will provide students and staff an opportunity to listen to the music (percussion alone). All recordings will be performed with Virtual Drumline 2.5 samples.
